The weekend is here! There are lots of fun activities going on – if you are not in a pool or the lake to stay cool, check these out!

Friday, June 3

Today is National Donut Day! Free donuts at Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts!

4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Brookwood Farmer’s Market – Come out and join us for what is sure to be a fabulous evening for strolling through the Brookwood Farmers’ Market.  Enjoy some of the freshest, juiciest produce around, supporting local farmers and artisans – you can also support the musical youth of our community.  Students of Music Matters will be performing live. Organizers expect several bands to perform, among them…The TAASK. And once again, Gymastics World of Georgia will be providing entertainment for the children. Make it a family affair…we’ve got dinner covered! If you haven’t joined us…you don’t know what you’re missing! (The market is also seeking musicians willing to donate their services for future markets!)

Saturday, June 4

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Home Depot Kids Workshop – build Dad a personal valet organizer for Father’s Day!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble story time – Pirates! Ahoy mates! Join us for a fun storytime about pirate adventures. Come dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow and be prepared to sail the high seas.

11:00 am – Mutts and More Festival – Cumming Fairgrounds.  Enjoy a day at the fairgrounds celebrating your pets! There is a 5k, Mutt Strut and Festival. There will be music, vendors, food and much more!

Silver City MarketplaceGeorgia Farmgirls are hosting the “Silver City Marketplace”, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s from 8 am until 4 pm. For the upcoming Memorial Day weekend we will be open on Monday also. We will have a food vendor offering wonderful BBQ, Hotdogs and Hamburgers.
