Weekend Events for Cumming, GA for December 14 – December 16, 2012

The holidays are in full swing with lots of fun family events and things to do in Forsyth County this weekend. Here’s a roundup!

Friday, December 14

11:15 am – ‘Tis the Season for Stories storytime at Hampton Park Library. Enjoy seasonal stories, holiday songs and a festive puppet show.

5:30 pm - Barnes & Noble at The Avenue Forsyth –  Special Event. Big Creek Elementary Holiday Musical Performance and Book Fair.

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Sweet & Sassy at The Avenue Forsyth – Girls Night Out. Holiday spa day! Spa pampering, Rudolph craft, Winter makeovers, hot chocolate and marshmallows, group photo, runway show, dancing and a limo ride! Call 770-781-0300 for reservations – $25.00. Come in your favorite pajamas!

Saturday, December 15

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Avenue Forsyth – Storytime. Merry Christmas Splat. Fun for all ages!

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm – The Avenue Forsyth – Complimentary Pictures with Santa and Carriage Rides at The Avenue Forsyth.

Sunday, December 16

5:00 pm – Baby, It’s Cold Outside - Sexton Hall Enrichment Center, 2115 Chloe Rd, Cumming, GA. Music Authority and The Forsyth Community Chorale present, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”  This holiday concert will feature the music of the season as the Chorale and the Music Authority Ensembles (Jazz, Guitar, and Percussion) all strut their stuff for a family friendly evening of fun and music. Admission is free, and we are collecting canned goods to help the hungry this holiday season.
