Friday, February 15

9:00 am – 5:00 pm – Lakewood 400 Antiques Market. $3 Friday – Sunday, Ticket is good all weekend, Children under 12 Free.

10:15 am – 12:15 pm – Hampton Park Library – Special Movie Presentation. We’re not allowed to tell you the titles of our movie features, but we can give you hints. Lady is the never-a-hair-out-of-place cocker spaniel. Tramp’s a wrong-side-of-the-tracks mongrel. Follow the star-crossed canines’ love story in one of Walt Disney’s most beloved animated movies. It’s the day after Valentine’s, but so what? Watch it with someone you love. Rated G; 75 minutes; 1955.

Saturday, February 16

9:00 am – 6:00 pm – Lakewood 400 Antiques Market.

10:00 am – 1:00 pm – Forsyth Senior Expo. Now in its eleventh year, the event will be held this year at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College. The Forsyth Senior Expo is an opportunity for senior citizens as well as their families and friends to learn about planning for the future. The free event provides a venue for information regarding a variety of topics including health care, housing, finance, safety and security, recreation, and travel. The Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College is located at 3410 Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Cumming. 10:00 am – 11:30 am – Michaels Kids Club - PETS & ANIMALS. On the half hour. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10AM – 11:30AM. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Avenue Forsyth – Storytime.

12:00 pm – 4:00 pm - Camp Bow Wow Alpharetta is hosting our 4th annual Cupids and Canines celebration at Camp Saturday, February 16th from 12 pm – 4 pm. This loving event doubles as an adopt – a – thon for animals in need of fur-ever homes and as a fundraiser for The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, Humane Society of Forsyth County, Angels Among Us, Furkids small Dog Rescue, and You Lucky Dog Rescue.
Faithful Friends Mobile Vet will be providing a Vaccine Clinic. And $20 Micro-chipping with also be provided!!!

Plant a tree in Forsyth this Arbor Day. Celebrate Georgia Arbor Day by planting a free red bud or red cedar seedling from Keep Forsyth County Beautiful.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, a limited number of free tree seedlings will be available while supplies last at the three Forsyth County Convenience Centers:

  • Coal Mountain Convenience Center, 3560 Settingdown Road
  • Old Atlanta Convenience Center, 3678 Old Atlanta Road
  • Tolbert Street Convenience Center, 351 Tolbert Street

Forsyth County Master Gardeners will also be at the sites to answer questions and provide planting information. If you pick up a free tree seedling on Feb. 16, you’ll be asked to provide a brief description of the planned location of the tree. Sunday, February 17
