Easter Egg Hunts and Activities 2013 in Forsyth County, GA

3/23 – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm – Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta Allergy-Friendly Easter Egg Hunt– my daughter has food allergies, so I am posting this special toy-filled Easter egg hunt which is in Roswell, GA. Garrard Landing Park, Roswell, GA – Nestled on the beautiful Chattahoochee River! Please RSVP by email if you will be attending – you need to be a member of FAKA and membership is free. Volunteers are needed for the event.

3/23 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Concord Baptist Church – Easter Egg Hunt – 6905 Concord Rd, Cumming, GA 30028-8598 (770) 887-9482

3/30 – 11:00 am – 6:00 pm – Taste of Forsyth 2013 – Cumming Fairgrounds – Taste of Forsyth will be in full swing celebrating 10 years at the City of Cumming Fairgrounds.  Plan to sample from over 25 restaurants (price ranges from $1 – $4) with over 10,000 of your family and friends.  Located 40 miles North of Atlanta the Taste of Forsyth is a great community event with music, kid’s zone, local entertainment, touch-a-truck and much more.  Easter egg hunts by age group starting at 11:30 (ages 3 and under), 12:30 (ages 4-7) and 1:30 pm (ages 8-10).

3/30 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm – The Avenue Forsyth – FREE Pictures with the Easter Bunny – Atlanta Diamond Design (next to Cheeky). Bring the whole family (and your own camera) for this FREE event.  We’ll have treats and crafts for the kids, as well at Atlanta Diamond Design. The Avenue Forsyth, 410 Peachtree Parkway, suite 120 (next to Cheeky) For more info, call 770.751.9555.

3/30 12:30 pm Easter event fundraiser at Save The Horses. Here is the flyer. This is a fundraiser event and proceeds go towards helping the abused and injured horses. There will be Pony Rides, Hay Rides, Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Easter Egg Hunt. It’s FREE for kids under 12, $5 per person for 13 yrs and older, pony rides are extra. Bring CASH. 3/30 – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Christ Community Church – Easter Eggstravaganza and Health Fair. We’ll have egg hunts with 30,000 Candy Eggs. Admittance is free. We will have three Candy Egg Hunts (3 age groups) with Prizes, Inflatables, Safari Petting Zoo, Carnival Ride, Health Fair, Red Cross Blood Drive, Giveaways, food by Slopes BBQ, the Easter Bunny, and more!

3/30 – 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Easter Egg Scramble – North Lanier Baptist Church – Off-site – Hutchinson Trace Subdivision Cumming, GA  30040. – Annual Community Egg Scramble and Carnival. A family fun event for the Church and Community. Easter egg scrambles, free cotton candy and popcorn, prizes and games!

3/30 – 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Swim Kids of GA – Egg-stra Cool UNDER THE SEA EGG HUNT! Grab a suit and towel and join us in the 90 degree HEATED POOL to spash around and grab some eggs!  We will be swimming for eggs starting at 4:00 and will be egg-hunting by age in small groups.  Parents of non-swimmers will need to suit up and join their child for some egg-citing fun in the pool! 1501 Redi Road, Cumming, GA.

3/31 – 9:45 am – 12:00 pm – Midway UMC – 5025 Atlanta Highway, Alpharetta, Georgia 30004 – Children’s Easter Egg Hunts.


3/30 and 3/31 – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm – Easter Festival at North Georgia Zoo & Farm – Eggstravaganza and Rabbit Palooza, Come and search for Easter eggs! Learn more about all the different types of eggs there are and see a real live  green giant egg! Come visit our giant Rabbit display and petting area! Meet a variety of rabbit breeds  including the largest breed of rabbit in the world, and get your picture taken with a baby bunny! More info: (706) 348 – 7279

3/30 – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm – Pine Isle Point, Lake Lanier Islands Golden Easter Egg Hunt – Our 3rd Annual Spring festival by the lake will showcase entertainment, as well as games, prizes, food, fun for kids of all ages, and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny. A classic Easter Egg Hunt – featuring more than 20,000 eggs and staggered by age groups to even the playing field – with the elusive Golden Egg filled with something even BETTER than candy! Visit for more information.
