Artistic Adventures, an 11 year old Fine Art and Pottery Instruction facility in South Forsyth, is proud to announce the opening of Always A Festival Gallery, South Forsyth’s newest fine art gallery.
Owner Jayme Teague’s mission behind the gallery is to promote the arts. Her vision is to be a gallery that benefits both the artist and the art consumer. People go to art festivals so they can better afford art without high gallery mark ups. The artists sell at festivals to avoid the same mark ups.
Always a Festival puts the majority of sales (85 – 90%) in the artist hands. By doing this art prices are affordable to the art collectors. The gallery will house:
Abstract and realism paintings in oil, pastels, acrylics and mixed media;
and handcrafted jewelry.
Teague began her quest to promote the arts in 2002 when she opened Artistic Adventures, a premier art studio offering small classes to ensure student success. Over the past 11 years, hundreds of adults and children have frequented pottery, drawing, painting and glass fusion classes. Teague said the missing piece to her original dream was the gallery. Now that the studio side has been operational for several years, she decided to completely fulfill her dreams and converted half of the building for the gallery.
