Friday, July 19

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – NEW Farmers Market at Vickery Village – There is a new farmers market in Cumming, GA! Come stock up for the weekend on farm fresh produce, local meats, poultry, and eggs as well as local artisan products such as bread, cheese, jellies, probiotic drinks, soaps and more. Also, order fresh wild caught seafood for delivery at the market from Tom’s Awesome Seafood.

4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Brookwood Farmers Market – Caney Creek Preserve. Family Friendly Activities, Entertainment, and over 30 Vendors!!! Check their Facebook page for updates. New this year – fun activities for kids!

Sweet & Sassy GNO’s every Friday in July – 7 – 9 pm – $30 per girl, party up-dos, runway show, group dancing, sweet treats, shimmery make-up, just-a-polish, craft, limo drive around. Reservations required – Summertime makeovers – hair, make-up, nails, and of course lots of glitter!, Craft, pizza and drinks, and a LIMO RIDE!! Call 770-781-0300 to sign-up.

6:00 pm – 10:30 pm – Frances Mooney & Fontanna Sunset Bluegrass Show – Sawnee Mountain Music, 1540 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming, GA 30040. Join the jamming from 6 – 8 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm – 10:30 pm. Tickets $10.00. Concession and chairs provided or bring your own picnic and favorite lawn chair. If it rains, they will move inside.

9:00 am – 5:00 pm Lakewood 400 Antiques Market – Happy 10th Anniversary! Celebrate their decade of flea market goodness and see what treasures you can find at the market. All weekend. Hours: Friday ~ 9 – 5, Saturday ~ 9 – 6, Sunday ~ 10-5. Admission: $3 Friday – Sunday, Ticket is good all weekend, Children under 12 Free.
Saturday, July 20

6:00 am – 8:00 pm – Blueberry Garden – Pick your own blueberries! Blueberry Garden is a 5 acre blueberry farm 50 miles north of Atlanta Ga. just off of Ga. 400. They are a U-Pick Blueberry Farm open every Friday & Saturday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm from mid-July through August, and by appointment throughout the week. We also offer Pre-Pick, (Please call 2 hours ahead for each gallon.)

6:30 am – 12:00 pm – Cumming Farmers Market – Wednesdays and Saturdays, Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot, 235 Castleberry Road, Cumming, GA. Support local farmers and check out the tasty produce, fragrant flowers and more!

9:00 am – 3:00 pm – 400 Wheels Car Bazaar and Car Show – 3885 Browns Bridge Rd, Cumming, GA – We invite you to buy, sell, trade or showcase your Classic, Exotic, Concept, Custom Cars or Bikes. So bring parts, tools, literature, equipment, car memorabilia, antiques, performance parts, crafts, collectibles, special interest items and anything else to swap. 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm – Free Outdoor Movie – The Croods at the Cumming Fairgrounds. Rain or shine, under the arena. The free outdoor movie starts at sundown – free face painting is an hour before the show. Watch the North Georgia Quarter Midget Races at the fairgrounds. Walk the red carpet and feel like a celebrity at the “Step and repeat” booth. Pick props from the photo booth and strike a pose. Bring a blanket or chair or sit in the stands and watch the movie. Concessions will be available or you can bring your own snacks. Alcohol is not allowed at the fairgrounds.
