Friday, November 8

10:00 am – 6:00 pm – Cumming Steam, Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Exposition at the Cumming Fairgrounds. The Cumming Steam, Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Exposition has steadily grown since it began in 2001. Come and join us for a weekend of fun and step back in time. We have working exhibits such as a cotton gin, saw mill, shingle mill, baker fan and many others. The Cumming Fairgrounds is one of the finest show grounds in the south. Come take a walk back in time. Vendors and exhibitors get in free and we have campsites available with full hook ups. Admission: 13 and up $5.00, kids 12 and under are free.

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Farmers Market at Vickery Village – The last full market of the season! Come stock up for the weekend on farm fresh produce, local meats, poultry, and eggs as well as local artisan products such as bread, cheese, jellies, probiotic drinks, soaps and more. Also, order fresh wild caught seafood for delivery at the market from Tom’s Awesome Seafood. Circle A has all their greens including Kale and Basil, fresh live lobster, fresh shrimp, gazaways farm amazing sausage and grass-fed beef, also The Flour Artisan’s amazing baked goods! Saturday, November 9

9:00 am – 3:00 pm – Fall Bazaar First Baptist Church Cumming – Annual Fall Bazaar.  Over 50 vendors with crafts, jewelry, art, antiques, Christmas items.  Silent Auction along with breakfast, lunch and a bake sale.  Proceeds benefit various mission projects including Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief.  1597 Sawnee Drive Cumming, GA

9:00 am – 5:30 pm – St. Benedict Holiday Bazaar. St. Benedict Catholic Church Women’s Guild will be holding a HOLIDAY BAZAAR on Saturday, November 9, 2013.  It will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church Parish Life Center, 11045 Parsons Road, Johns Creek, from 9 am to 5:30 pm, and is open to the public.  It features over 40 vendors.  Lunch and baked goods also will be for sale.  We will hold raffle drawings with all product lines represented.  Offerings include hundreds of unique gift ideas, artistic cards, home décor, floral arrangements, religious items, jewelry, crocheted/knitted items, clothing/ accessories, handbags/totes, books, fused glassware, yard art, seasonal gifts, headbands/bows, doll clothes, blankets, pottery, gardening items, gourmet food items, artwork, wood carvings, Holy Land items, and so much more.  For more information, call Donna (770) 623-5718 or Angela (770) 558-4232. St. Benedict Catholic Church, 11045 Parsons Road, Johns Creek, GA.

10:00 am – 11:30 am – Michaels KIDS CLUB®: Winter Wonderland Snow Globe. Kids, make a scene this holiday season. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:30 am – 3:00 pm – The NFHS Raider Band hosts its 6th Annual “Taste of Christmas” on November 9th at North Forsyth High School from 11:30 – 3:00.  The event will feature restaurant tastings, crafters/vendors, a silent auction, musical performances by NFHS band students, and pictures with Santa Claus.  Tickets for the event are $10 each and can be purchased prior to the event from any NFHS band student as well as at the door on the day of the event.  Your ticket includes ten tastes from the participating restaurants.  All proceeds benefit the NFHS band program. Located at 3655 Coal Mountain Dr., Cumming, GA.

1:00 pm – Barnes & Noble magic show. Luna the Tooth Fairy is back for a visit. Join us for this fun magic show. Luna will be giving away free books and signing autographs.
