11:15 am – 11:45 am – Hampton Park Library Preschool Pals story time for ages 3 – 5. These 30 minute programs are designed to promote language, listening, and pre-reading skills by offering vocabulary development, experiences with a variety of literature, and participation in language-related activities.  Hear stories, sing songs, and develop the skills needed to become a successful reader.

Saturday, January 25

9:00 am – 1:00 pm – NFMOM Kids and Babies Consignment Sale at Lanier Technical College – Forsyth Conference Center, 7745 Majors Road, Cumming, GA. Check out this huge consignment sale and stock up on all of your seasonal and new sizing needs!

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB®: Glitter & Tie-Dye Designs. Sparkle and Swirl. Kids, have fun making your own tie-dye and glitter designs. Join us on Saturday, January 25th, for our Glitter and Tie-Dye Event. Just $2.00 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. 11:00 am – 4:00 pm – Atlanta Summer Camp Expo at North Point Mall in Alpharetta, GA. Meet with camp directors and learn about summer and sleepaway camps in Atlanta! From equestrian to drama, and water sports to Internet surfing, summer camps have changed.  From traditional outdoor summer camps to specialized day and overnight camps, there are scores to choose from for kids ranging from ages preschool to 18.  Meet face-to-face with camp directors and former camp attendees, see informational videos and pick up brochures.

11:15 am – 1:15 pm – Post Road Library Saturday Family Story Time. Start your weekend off right at the Post Road library. We’ll have stories, dancing, and fun! This storytime is for children aged 4-8 but bring the whole family!

11:15 am – 11:45 am – Saturday Scavengers Story Time at Cumming Library. This 30 minute storytime includes books, music, and activities. It is designed for ages 4 – 8, but the whole family is welcome to attend.

Sunday, January 26

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – 80’s Movie Matinee at Hampton Park Library. Due to licensing restrictions, we can’t advertise the titles of our movies online. However, see if you can guess this week’s film by the following description: Number 5, one of a group of experimental military robots, undergoes a sudden transformation after being struck by lightning. With the help of a young woman, Number 5 tries to evade capture and convince his creator that he has truly become alive.
