Friday, March 28

11:15 am – 11:45 am – Hampton Park Library Preschool Pals story time for ages 3 – 5. These 30 minute programs are designed to promote language, listening, and pre-reading skills by offering vocabulary development, experiences with a variety of literature, and participation in language-related activities.  Hear stories, sing songs, and develop the skills needed to become a successful reader.

4:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Happy Flower Hours – Pike Nursery 20% OFF Everything* – Guests can enjoy complimentary refreshments and treats along with storewide discounts on a variety of plants, gardening accessories, and more. There will even be opportunities for customers to win additional discounts and a FREE landscape design by the garden experts at Pike Nurseries! *Offer valid Friday, March 28 from 4pm-8pm on all regular priced items excluding grills, propane, sod, pine straw, gift cards and services. Saturday, March 29

10:00 am – 12:00 pm on the half hour – Michaels KIDS CLUB®: Framed with Creativity. Framed with creativity! Kids, decorate a picture frame with felt stickers. Join us on Saturday, March 22nd,  for our Felt Sticker Frame Event. Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00.

10:00 am – Pike Nursery – Growing Fruit Trees – Now is the time to plant fruit trees. Stop by any Pike Nurseries location for a free class on planting and growing fruit trees.

10:00 am – 5:00 pm – Craft Show – Springtime in the Country – Spring craft show. 6140 Highway 400 (Cumming/Forsyth border.) Local artisans and businesses. Approximatey 50 vendors. Located in the 6140 Event Center. This Event Center is located in the series of buildings on Highway 400 where Bounce Gym, the Rug Outlet, and North Forsyth Church are located. On the east side of Highway 400. Local Crafters & Vendors, Face Painting Plus the Easter Bunny with Photo Opp from 12pm to 5pm.

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth storytime – Ever wonder if a dinosaur could teach a dragon to fly? Join us for a storytime reading of Freddie & Gingersnap by Vincent X. Kirsch and find out.

11:15 am – 1:15 pm – Post Road Library Saturday Family Story Time. Start your weekend off right at the Post Road library. We’ll have stories, dancing, and fun! This storytime is for children aged 4-8 but bring the whole family!

11:15 am – 11:45 am – Saturday Story Time at Cumming Library. This storytime includes books, music, and activities. It is designed for ages 4 – 8, but the whole family is welcome to attend.

ALPHARETTA EVENTS

The GREAT British Car Fayre on March  29, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Beatles tribute band 12 – 2 p.m. Admission is Free

A warm and friendly gathering of British car and motorcycle enthusiasts will be joining downtown Alpharetta’s delightful setting. Listen to the brilliant music of The Big Chicken Beatles Band while you walk around and enjoy food trucks, local vendors, arts and crafts, beer and wine and of course, classic British Cars! You’ll see an abundance of British cars including: a Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Jaguar,Lotus Esprit, MG, Austin-Healey, Morgan, Triumph, McLaren, Peeler, Landrover, MINI, Sunbeam, Jensen, and DeLorean to name just a few!
