Friday

11:15 – 11:45 am – Preschool Pals at the Hampton Park Library. Share the fun of reading with your children ages 3-5 years! We’ll explore stories and activities to encourage children along a lifelong path of reading and learning. Hear stories, sing songs, and develop the skills needed to become a successful reader. Preschool Pals programs are for children ages 3-5 and their parents or caregivers. Advance registration is not required for this program.

Saturday

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth storytime – Story and activity great for kids.

11:15 am – 12:15 pm – Post Road Library Saturday Family Story Time. Start your weekend off right at the Post Road library. We’ll have stories, dancing, and fun! This storytime is for children aged 4-8 but bring the whole family!

11:15 am – 11:45 am – Saturday Story Time at Cumming Library. This storytime includes books, music, and activities. It is designed for ages 4 – 8, but the whole family is welcome to attend.

11:00 am – 6:00 pm – Taste of Forsyth & Easter Egg HuntTaste of Forsyth & Easter Egg Hunt at the Cumming Fairgrounds, 235 Castleberry Road, Cumming, GA. Taste of Forsyth will be in full swing celebrating 11 years on Saturday April 19 at the City of Cumming Fairgrounds. Plan to sample from over 25 restaurants with over 10,000 of your family and friends. Located 40 miles North of Atlanta nestled up to Lake Lanier the Taste of Forsyth is a great community event with music, kids zone, local entertainment, touch-a-truck and much more.

12:30 pm – 4:00 pm – Free Photos with the Easter Bunny at The Collection Forsyth – Atlanta Diamond Design. FREE Pictures with the Easter Bunny at Bring the whole family (and your camera) for a chance to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Plus, we’ll have crafts, treats, and activities for the kids.

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Easter Eggstravaganza and 3rd Annual Health Fair at Christ Community Church from 1-4PM. We will have two HUGE egg hunts for kids, Games, Activities, Giveaway Prizes, a Safari Petting Zoo, and much more! The Health Fair is brought to you in partnership with Natural Body Spa. Food available for purchase from Slopes BBQ.

ALL WEEKEND

Lakewood 400 Antiques Market – Happy 10th Anniversary! Celebrate their decade of flea market goodness and see what hidden treasures you can find at the market. All weekend. Hours: Friday ~ 9 – 5, Saturday ~ 9 – 6, Sunday ~ 10-5. Admission: $3.00. Friday – Sunday, Ticket is good all weekend, Children under 12 Free.

Forsyth Central Stage invites you “Into the Woods” April 17,18,19,24, and 25 at the Forsyth Central High School’s Performing Arts Center. Shows begin at 7 p.m., and tickets can be purchased at the door or online for $10 adults/$8 students at www.forsythcentralstage.com .

4/19 & 4/20 – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm – Easter Festival at North Georgia Zoo & Farm – Eggstravaganza and Rabbit Palooza. Come and search for Easter eggs! Learn more about all the different types of eggs there are and see a real live  green  giant egg! Come visit our giant rabbit display and petting area! Meet a variety of rabbit breeds  including the largest breed of rabbit in the world, and get your picture taken with a baby bunny! Find lots of eggs!
