Friday, June 27

10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Cumming Library – Forsyth County Schools Robotics Camp Competition Day. Students from NFHS and FCHS camps competing head to head with their machines. Drop in and cheer for your favorite.

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – The Vickery Village Farmers Market is here for its second year! This farmers market is one of few in which the produce is truly farm fresh … wherein the farmer is the grower. Other vendors include sausage, meat, fish, eggs, cheese, soaps, and other assorted artisans. Like us on Facebook: Vickery Village Farmers Market by Southern Growers.

11:15 am – Post Road Library – Friday Family Movie Picnic.

11:15 am – Hampton Park Library – Elementary Einsteins Summer Storytime.

4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Brookwood Farmers Market at Caney Creek Preserve. Family Friendly Activities, Entertainment, and over 30 Vendors!!! Check also their Facebook page for updates. They have fun activities for kids!

5:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Warbington Farms “Screen on the Green” event. The fun park opens at 5pm and includes “hey”rides, petting zoo, corn crib, tire yard, hillbilly slide, pedal cars, inflatables, playground, roller slides, and MORE! Price is $5 adults and $8 kids. Outdoor movie Barnyard starts at dark and is free with fun park admission. Bring lawn chairs or blankets!

Saturday, June 28

10:00 am – Lowe’s Build and Grow. Build a Sheep Drop Game! Score some points with your kids! Bring them into Lowe’s and they can build their very own Sheep Drop Game inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s How To Train Your Dragon 2!

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Fourth of July wood stars. Kids, have a sparkling Fourth of July! Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

11:00 am Barnes & Noble story time. The Little Zebra Who Lost his Stripes story time.

11:15 am – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime.

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Atlanta Diamond Design Free Family Fun Independence Carnival. Bring the whole family for face-painting, balloon twisting, fun games, prizes, crafts, and treats.  Plus, your chance to win a $1,000 diamond in our Diamond Island Game.  We’re located at the Collection Forsyth next to Cheeky.

2:30 pm – Cumming Library – Saturday Storytime.
