Summer fun in Forsyth County is in full swing! Here’s our weekend roundup of things to do in Cumming, GA. Please comment and share if you know of any other events.

Friday, July 18

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – The Vickery Village Farmers Market is here for its second year! This farmers market is one of few in which the produce is truly farm fresh … wherein the farmer is the grower. 11:15 am – Post Road Library – Friday Family Movie Picnic.

11:15 am – Hampton Park Library – Elementary Einsteins Summer Storytime.

4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Brookwood Farmers Market at Caney Creek Preserve. Family Friendly Activities, Entertainment, and over 30 Vendors!!! Check also their Facebook page for updates. They have fun activities for kids!

Saturday, July 19

9:00 am – Pike Nursery – Terrariums and Fairy Gardens ClassBring gardening inside with terrariums and fairy gardens. During this free class, our experts will teach you the basics of creating these fun indoor gardens.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Fun bug display mount. Mount a fun toy bug on a miniature plaque that you decorate yourself. Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Midway Saddle Club July Horse Show – Visit www.midwaysaddleclub.com to see all the classes. Food, fun and beautiful Horses. All ages are welcome. $5 gate entry and children under 12 are free. Show sheet detail and prices are on the website. Located at: 8330 Seabolt Dr, Cumming, Georgia 30028.

11:00 am Barnes & Noble story time. Have you seen my dragon? A small boy travels around town looking for his dragon. Can you spot him?

11:15 am – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime.

2:30 pm – Cumming Library – Saturday Storytime.

Pick your own blueberries at Blueberry Garden. We will be opening for berry picking open for berry picking on Saturday, July 19 from 7:00am to 4:00pm or until the berries are gone. Located at: 5445 Crow Road, Cumming, GA.

Come pick up some of your favorite lettuces/basil/kale. We grow farm fresh produce and bring it here to our retail store. We are not your average produce store. Also, we have carefully selected four other farms to be included at our venue. We carry a large selection of fruits, vegetables, peanuts, pecans, jams and jellies. And a few other surprises, too. We are non-GMO and Certified Natural Grown, Georgia Grown, and some organic items, too.
