Friday, July 25

10:15 am – Puppetpalooza at Hampton Park Library.

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – The Vickery Village Farmers Market is here for its second year! This farmers market is one of few in which the produce is truly farm fresh … wherein the farmer is the grower. 11:15 am – Post Road Library – Friday Family Movie Picnic.

1:15 pm – Puppetpalooza at Hampton Park Library.

2:00 pm – Get Pop Cultured Flash storytime. Barnes & Noble.

4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Brookwood Farmers Market at Caney Creek Preserve. Family Friendly Activities, Entertainment, and over 30 Vendors!!! New location on Vaughn Drive at Brookwood Elementary School! Check also their Facebook page for updates. They have fun activities for kids!

5:00 pm – Get Pop Cultured Green Lantern storytime. Barnes & Noble.

6:00 pm – Teen book club – Barnes & Noble.

6:30 pm – Family Fun Night/Outdoor Movie at Johns Creek Dental Town. Join us for our 2nd annual family fun and movie night at our Johns Creek Dental Town location on Friday July 25th, 2014. Fun for the entire family starts at 6:30 pm and movie begins at dusk. We are showing Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Free face painting, bounce houses, popcorn and movie for the whole family.We will be selling pizza, Kona Ice, and have a raffle. All proceeds will benefit Next Generation Focus of Forsyth County. Guest are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Open to the public, so bring your friends and family!!

Saturday, July 26

9:00 am – Pike Nursery – Hummingbird GardeningBring life and movement to your garden by attracting hummingbirds. Learn the basics of hummingbird gardening during this free class. 

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Summer wildflower canvas painting. Let your creativity bloom. Learn to paint a textured flower on canvas. Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

12:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Get Pop Cultured Lego Build. Barnes & Noble. Come help us celebrate the world of DC Comics. Participants will work together to build Gotham City one building at a time using LEGO Architecture.

Pick your own blueberries at Blueberry Garden. Due to the rain on Saturday, we will be open Monday, July 21 through Saturday, July 26 from 7:00am to 7:00pm or until all ripe berries are gone. No appointment necessary. Located at: 5445 Crow Road, Cumming, GA.

Pick your own sunflowers at The Anderson’s Sunflower Farm. It is approaching the end of the season so check their FB page for details.

Come pick up some of your favorite lettuces/basil/kale. We grow farm fresh produce and bring it here to our retail store. We are not your average produce store. Also, we have carefully selected four other farms to be included at our venue. We carry a large selection of fruits, vegetables, peanuts, pecans, jams and jellies. And a few other surprises, too. We are non-GMO and Certified Natural Grown, Georgia Grown, and some organic items, too.
