Friday, January 2

10:00 am – 11:00 am – Hampton Park Library – Busy Builders – Let’s build something together! Did you know that playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills? Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we’ll provide the rest! All ages are welcome to attend this family program. Registration is not required, drop-in anytime!

11:15 am – Frozen Family Movie Picnic at Post Road Library. Dress up in your costume, sing along, bring your pillows, blankets and a picnic lunch and have fun at the movie picnic!

Saturday, January 3

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Home Depot Kids Workshop – Learn how to build a mini sled!

  • Come learn how to build a mini sled
  • FREE hands-on workshops; designed for children ages 5 – 12
  • All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
  • Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.
  • Kids Workshop activities are scheduled on a first come/first served basis. Please do not arrive before 9:00 a.m.
  • Thank you for registering online to help us better plan our craft kit quantities needed.

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble story time. Skippyjon Jones Snow What Storytime. Join us as we find out what happens when Skippyjon’s closet turns into a magical snowy forest.

Sunday, January 4

1:15 pm – Mustache Crafts for Tweens at Post Road Library. I mustache you a question…would you like to makesome cool crafts at the library? We will be making mustaches on sticks, a mustache mobile, “Don’t Touch My Stache” painted jars, mustache straws and more. For 4th to 8th graders. Registration requested. Register HERE!
