Friday, January 23

3:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Academy Sports + Outdoors at The Collection Forsyth. The Braves Country Caravan gives fans the opportunity to interact with Braves players, coaches and broadcasters before the new season kicks off in April. The Cumming, Georgia Caravan stop includes an autograph signing at Academy Sports + Outdoors from 3:30-5:00 PM with select Atlanta Braves players and coaches that will be announced at a later date.

Saturday, January 24

9:00 am Pike Nursery – Cumming. FREE Class – Gardening Indoors: Houseplants for a Healthy 2015. Add some life to your home décor with houseplants. Indoor plants are perfect for filling the void once your Christmas decorations are taken down, and they’re even better for your health. Join us for a free class to learn about gardening indoors that will cover choosing houseplants, planting and care tips, and their overall benefits.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB: Mardi Gras mask. Make a festive Mardi Gras mask! Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble story time at The Collection Forsyth. Join us January 24 at 11:00 am for Storytime and activities featuring I Love You Night and Day. This beautiful book explores that there are no bounds to love, and when you love someone you want the whole world to know!

11:15 am – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime at Post. Start your weekend off right at the Post Road library. We’ll have stories, dancing, and fun! This storytime is for children aged 4-8 but bring the whole family!

3:30 pm – 4:00 pm – Sharon Forks Library – One World Forsyth celebrates Africa. Widen your worldview at the library with family-friendly programs for all ages! The library is proud to offer a new series, One World Forsyth, sponsored by the FCPL Friends & Advocates. One World Forsyth programs will be hosted each month at one of the four library branches on a rotating basis. Learn about geography, cultural traditions and celebrations, as well as animals, games, and foods from around the world! These programs are free and are intended for all ages. Advance registration is not required to attend.
