Saturday, March 28

8:00 am – H20 5k and Fun Run – North Forsyth Middle School  3845 Coal Mountain Dr Cumming, GA 30040. Simple Charity, a club run by NFHS students that has raised $36,000 for charity this school year, is hosting a 5k and one mile fun run for kids at NFHS to benefit Just One Africa and give clean water to people in Kenya! The event is on March 28th, but you have to register by March 20th to get a t-shirt. Sign in at 7:15, race begins at 8:00 am. Fun Run will begin at 9:00 am. Parking will be outside of the Performing Arts Center at North Forsyth High School.

9:00 am – 6:00 pm – Open House at Miracle Pottery. KIDS PAINT FREE DAY BEGINS AT 9:00 AM. Kids will be able to choose one FREE pottery item to paint and decorate. Allow your little one to use their creativity and get artsy! Drinks, coffee, and snack will be served! ADULT RAKU PARTY BEGINS AT 7:30 PM. TICKETS ARE $20.00 PER ADULT. Each person will get one FREE Strawberry Pot to paint and glaze. After decorating, we will watch our pots as they are firing! You will be able to take your gorgeous pot home with you afterwards! 9:30 am – 11:30 am – The Forsyth County Lions Club Presents Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Central Park Recreation Center, 2300 Keith Bridge Road, Cumming, GA. Adult Tickets: $6.00 in advance ∙ $7.00 onsite. Child (Under 12) Tickets: $3.00 in advance. $4.00 onsite. Pancake Breakfast With The Trimmings. Appearance by The Easter Bunny. Children’s activities and family entertainment. There is also a coupon on their website so you can get advance pricing at the door if you have the coupon printed out. All proceeds from the Forsyth County Lions Club’s “Breakfast With The Easter Bunny” will be used to help low-income, uninsured Cumming and Forsyth County, Georgia, residents receive vision and hearing care.

10:00 am or 1:00 pm – Easter Eggstravaganza at Browns Bridge Church! Bring the family and invite the neighborhood to the first ever KidStuf Easter Eggstravaganza! Don’t miss a chance to invite a friend to this EGGstraordinary, musically EGGciting, most EGGcellent family experience. Every kid leaves with candy filled eggs! RESERVE YOUR FREE TICKETS. The Eggstravaganza is a ticketed event so that we can ensure every child gets a bucket of eggs. 10:00 am – 3:00 pm – 2015 Farm EGGstravaganza at Warbington Farms Join us for an “EGGstravagant” day at the farm.

10:30 am – 12:00 pm – FREE Easter Egg Scramble & Carnival Cotton Candy, Games & More at Whitlow Elementary hosted by North Lanier Baptist Church.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB. Make a pom pom baby chick. Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble story time at The Collection Forsyth. Join us March 28 at 11:00 am for Storytime featuring New York Times bestselling children’s book Duck & Goose. Duck doesn’t much care for Goose at first, and Goose isn’t fond of Duck. But both want the egg that each claims to be his.

11:15 am – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime at Post. Start your weekend off right at the Post Road library. We’ll have books, rhymes, stories, dancing, and fun! This storytime is for children aged 4-8 but bring the whole family!

Sunday, March 29
2:30 pm – 4:30 pm – Lanier United Methodist Church is hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt on the church front lawn on at 2:30 PM (Rain date Saturday, April 4th at 2:00 pm). There will be a train ride, bouncy house, and refreshments. There is no cost. Bring a carload! The church is located at 1979 Buford Highway, Cumming, 30041. More Information: 770-887-0615.
5:00 pm – 9:00 pm – The Ridge – Humane Society of Forsyth County Pooches on the Patio. If you haven’t been, this is a great event to raise money for the HSFC and you are encouraged to bring your furry pet. Join us for our first Pooches on the Patio of 2015. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures and there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. $5.00 Cover Charge Per Person. Dogs Invited: No retractable leashes and must be spayed or neutered. 3/25 – 3/29 NFHS Drama Department presents The Wizard of Oz! North Forsyth Drama Department presents The Wizard of Oz!!! Wednesday, March 25th (7pm), Thursday, March 26th (7pm), Friday, March 27th (7pm), Saturday, March 28th (matinee at 3pm, evening 7pm), and Sunday, March 29th matinee at 2pm. Tickets will be available at www.nfhsdrama.org.
South Forsyth Middle School Drama will feature Meredith Wilson’s “The Music Man” from March 25 to 28. Shows on March 25 to 27 will begin at 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. on March 28. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Performances will be held at the South Forsyth High School Performing Arts Center, 585 Peachtree Pkwy, Cumming, GA.
Rhea Lana’s of Cumming Children’s Consignment Sale will be at Lakewood 400 Antiques Market from March 28th through April 2nd.
