Friday, October 9

10:00 AM – Hampton Park Library – Busy Builders. Let’s build something together! Playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills! Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we’ll provide the rest! All ages are welcome to attend this family program. Registration is not required, drop-in anytime!

11:15 AM – Post Road Library – Preschoolers @ Post – STEM 4 Pre-K – Every child is a budding scientist! Let your child experiment, explore and wonder with hands-on, age appropriate science fun!

Saturday, October 10

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Make a Kids Club® Perler Frankenstein! Let the kids craft while you shop, and then they get to take their creativity home with them! Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

11:00 AM – Sharon Forks Library – Sensory Storytime for Children with Special Needs  –

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble – The Collection Forsyth. Join us for Storytime and activities featuring Pete the Cat and the Bedtime Blues.

11:15 AM – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime at Post. Start your weekend off right at the Post Road library. We’ll have books, dancing and fun! This storytime is great for the whole family!

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Michaels – Fun family craft time – Great pumpkin event – Kids and adults can make a silly monster or a mummy pumpkin. Buy a 9″ craft pumpkin by Ashland® and the supplies are FREE!

1:00 pm – Barnes & Noble – Celebrate Star Wars Reads Day with a special Star Wars themed Storytime at 1:00PM. Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character.

2:00 PM – Barnes & Noble – Join us for a Star Wars themed LEGO Make & Take event. Participants will get to make their very own Millennium Falcon out of LEGOs and enjoy other Star Wars themed activities.

South Forsyth High School presents Urine Town. A side-splitting send-up of greed, love, revolution (and musicals!), in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. – Music by Mark Hollmann, Lyrics by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis. All tickets are $10 at the door.
