Friday, January 8

10:00 AM – Cumming Library – American Red Cross – Blood Drive 

10:00 AM – Hampton Park Library – Busy Builders – Let’s build something together! Did you know that playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills? Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we’ll provide the rest! All ages are welcome to attend this family program. Registration is not required, drop-in anytime!

11:15 AM – Post Road Library – Preschoolers @ Post – STEM 4 Pre-K 

Saturday, January 9

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: KIDS CLUB® Sparkling Snowflakes. Let the kids craft while you shop, and then they get to take their creativity home with them! Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

11:00 am – 1:30 pm – Central Forsyth Youth Lacrosse will be hosting a FREE lacrosse clinic at Coal Mountain Park turf field on January 9, 2016 from 11am to 1:30 pm. This will include guest instructors of a former Ga. Tech. Lax player and friends. Please join us if you are new to the sport or you want to sharpen some skills. 11:00 AM – Barnes & Noble – The Collection Forsyth –  When you love someone, you stand by them no matter what happens. In this month’s Picture Book of the Month, I’ll Never Let You Go, we celebrate the beauty of unconditional love. Join us Saturday, January 9, at 11:00AM for Storytime and activities to follow.

11:15 AM – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime at Post – Start your weekend off right at the Post Road library. We’ll have stories, dancing, and fun! This storytime is for children aged 4-8 but bring the whole family!

Registration for youth baseball and softball in Forsyth County. Register at each park in Forsyth County this weekend and next weekend.
