10:00 AM – Hampton Park Library  Busy Builders – Let’s build something together! Did you know that playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills? Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we’ll provide the rest! All ages are welcome to attend this family program. Registration is not required, drop-in anytime!

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Michaels – Fun Family Craft Time – Tie-Dye Shirt. Cost: Buy the shirt and the supplies are free.

Saturday, April 23

10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Forsyth County Animal Shelter – Spring Fling. Please join us on Saturday, April 23rd at a family-friendly and pet-friendly event celebrating the season. We will have food, festivities (including water balloons, dog agility course and more) and, of course, our adoptable animals. We will also be offering microchipping for $15.00 to the first 20 pet owners and $25.00 for all others. Stop by and enjoy our spring weather. Hours are 10 to 4, at the shelter. 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB: Make a tissue paper tie dye art. Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!
11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth story time.  A heartwarming story with adorable art, this irresistibly charming picture book debut invites readers to meet Georgie and friends­—and find the answer to the most important question of the day: Where’s the Party? Join us to find out at Storytime featuring Where’s the Party? Activities to follow.

Ladybug weekend at Pike Nursery – Saturday & Sunday, April 23-24. We’re giving away over 2 million FREE ladybugs! Ladybugs are great pest control for your garden because they eat aphids and other problem insects.
