Friday, May 13

10:00 am – Hampton Park Library  – Busy Builders. Let’s build something together! Did you know that playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills? Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we’ll provide the rest! All ages are welcome to attend this family program. Registration is not required, drop-in anytime!

Saturday, May 14

9:00 am – 5:00 pm – Strawberry Festival – Warbington Farms – Join us for our 6th Annual Strawberry Festival. We will have vendors, face painting (extra cost), “Hey”rides, petting zoo, fun park, craft for kids, visit with strawberry shortcake and MORE! *Strawberry picking is $14 (plus tax) for a gallon and BASED ON AVAILABILITY. We suggest coming early for strawberry picking as we will close the field once the berries are picked. Admission to the fun park is $9 kids and $5 adults and includes access to the vendors, hayride to feed the cows, petting zoo, inflatables, slides, corn crib, swings and MORE!

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB: Make a dream catcher! Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!
11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth story time. If your mom says to get ready to play at the beach, she means with a boat, or a Frisbee or a shovel. She is NOT talking about the piano. But Magnolia is a little girl with a big idea, determination and one very heavy upright piano she insists she needs to take with her. What’s the worst that can happen? Find out at Storytime. Activities to follow.
11:00 am – Sharon Forks Library Sensory Storytime for Children with Special Needs 
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Child safety/defense class at Forsyth County YMCA by Revved Up Kids. K-5 Self-Defense Workshop. $25.00 per participant. Register online.
Sunday, May 15
11:00 am – 2:00 pm Food Truck Sunday at Cumming First United Church. Join us out on the front parking lot and lawn for Food Truck Sunday! Food Trucks will include: Sweet Auburn BBQ, Tex’s Tacos, The Patty Wagon, Happy Belly & North Georgia Treats.  This will be a fun, family friendly event that will include live music, games, face-painting, cornhole, inflatables, train rides, and more. Please bring money for the food trucks (food prices determined by food trucks), everything else is free! This is a great time to invite friends and family. This is a community wide event!
12:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Festival Tusovka – Browns Bridge Event Center 3885 Browns Bridge Rd, Cumming, Georgia 30041.
All are welcome to join our family-friendly Festival Tusovka. Enjoy International and Russian food, crafters/vendors, activities for all ages. In addition, there is a music stage outside, car show and live performance inside. The Festival Tusovka takes place rain or shine, and admission is free. Parking $5. CELEBRATE FREEDOM RODEO in ALPHARETTA

The Celebrate Freedom rodeo at Wills Park will be under the covered arena so rain or shine the event will go on. General admission-$15 for adult, kids ages 5-12-$10 and 4 & under is free. Go to the front gate to purchase your wristband that you will need to keep on during the event. Gates open at 5:30pm, rodeo starts 7:30pm, live music by Twisted Whiskey each night after the rodeo. There will be boiled peanuts, funnel cakes, Shane’s rib shack BBQ, Dixie outfitter t-shirt vendor, western toys and women’s handbags,jewelry etc. We will have a mechanical bull, pony rides, rock climbing wall. 11925 Wills Park, Alpharetta, GA.
