Friday, July 1

10:00 AM – Cumming Library – American Red Cross – Blood Drive  – There is a big shortage right now. If you are a donor, please think about giving during this urgent time.

Saturday, July 2

7:00 am – 12:00 pm – Cumming Farmer’s Market at the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot. Open for the season on Saturdays and Wednesdays!

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Home Depot Kids Workshop Ice Age Bowling Game

  • Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can create a cool Ice Age: Collision Course bowling game. Once the game is built, your child can decorate it with stickers of characters in the new Ice Age movie.
  • All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
  • Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin
10:00 am – 2:00 pm & 2:30 – 6:30 pm – Cumming Aquatic Center Outdoor Leisure Pool Open two shifts daily for the summer season!
10:00 am – 7:00 pm – Old Atlanta Spray Pad open through September 5. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., May 28 through August 3. Beginning August 4 until September 5, the hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Mondays the spray pad is closed for maintenance, and on Sundays the venue is available for private rentals only. Daily admission for the spray pad is $2 per person (one year old and up). Annual individual passes are available for $30 and annual family passes are available for $60. Private rentals are $200 and include exclusive use of the spray pad and pavilion for two hours.
10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB: Make a craft stick American flag! Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth story time – Octicorn is the funny, sweet and disarming character who is a champion for anyone who has ever felt a little bit different. And isn’t that everyone? Join us for Storytime featuring Hello, My Name Is Octicorn.

11:15 AM – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime at Post 

Sunday, July 3

1:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Cumming Aquatic Center Outdoor Leisure Pool Open for one shift.

Fireworks

July 3 – 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm – City of Cumming – Cumming Fairgrounds – July 4th Celebration at Cumming Fairgrounds. July 3rd Festivities: Dance Contest, Food Vendors & Children’s Activities from 6-11 PM, Dance Contest 8:30 PM, Fireworks 9:30 PM, FREE Admission and Parking.

Monday, July 4

10:00 am – July 4th Steam Engine Parade in Downtown Cumming.

11:00 am – 2:00 pm – The Foster House Annual BBQ – We will be having our annual BBQ at The Foster House on Monday July 4th from 11-2. Walk on over from the parade and sit and eat on our patio or take some home!
