10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB: Make a felt hand tree! Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:00 am – Bluegrass on the Farm at Warbington Farms – Visit us on the farm as we offer this special, pre-season event as a THANK YOU to the community.

Bring your lawn-chairs, sit back and enjoy the free bluegrass music, clogging, and country scenery. There will be many activities including the hayride, petting zoo, corn crib, all new giant jumping pillow and more! Plus….be among the first to get lost and find fun in our 2016 CORN MAZE!

**Bluegrass and clogging will be held at the pavilion.
** All children (3-12) MUST purchase a $5 wristband to enter.

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth story time –   The creators of the New York Times bestselling picture books Rosie Revere, Engineer and Iggy Peck, Architect are back with a story about the power of curiosity in the hands of a child who is on a mission to use science to understand her world. Join us as we discover Ada Twist, Scientist at Storytime.

9/9 – 9/10 North Fulton Mothers of Multiples Consignment Sale – at Lakewood 400 Antique Market, 1321 Atlanta Highway, Cumming, GA. Friday – 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm preview ($5.00 donation), Saturday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Members and friends of our club sell new and gently used items they no longer need. The sale is a great place to get everything you need from infants to tweens, including: children’s clothes, matching outfits, seasonal outfits, maternity clothes, shoes, rocking chairs, high chairs, swings, cribs, changing tables, bedding, tricycles, all types of toys from outdoor toys to electronic toys, books, videos, swings, car seats, exersaucers, high chairs, walkers, and much more. Select from over 20,000 items…enough to fill 14,000 square feet! Come early, as there is usually a line to get in the door! No bags, strollers. Bring a laundry basket.

Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival 
Where: Lake Lanier
When: Races begin at 7:15 a.m., opening ceremony begins at noon, race finals begin at 1:30 p.m., awards presentation begins at 3:40 p.m.
Cost: Free
What: The eighth annual race is Georgia’s biggest event celebrating the culture of Hong Kong. Watch as rowers plow through the water in colorful dragon boats, cheer teams at the Opening Ceremonies, and try international dishes from Hong Kong and elsewhere around the world.

Yellow Daisy Festival 
Where: Stone Mountain Park
When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Thursday and Friday), 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Saturday), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Sunday)
Cost: Free with paid parking admission ($15)
What: More than 400 artists display and demonstrate their works across two miles of wooded trails. Plus: tap your toes to live music, ooh and ahh at the flower show, and hit up the children’s corner for face painting, sand art, storytelling, and more.
