Friday, September 23

Saturday, September 24

7:00 am – 12:00 pm – Cumming Farmer’s Market at the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot. Open for the season on Saturdays and Wednesdays!

8:00 am – 1:00 pm – Lake Lanier Shore Sweep – Keep Forsyth County Beautiful – Shoresweep / Rivers Alive, Bald Ridge Marina @ 8 a.m. Help clean up the lake with this fun event. This year’s 12 participating locations are Lanier Islands, Clarks Bridge, Longwood, Don Carter, Gwinnett and War Hill parks; Aqualand, Bald Ridge, Gainesville and Port Royale marinas; and Balus Creek and Big Creek boat ramps. Volunteers who turn in at least one full bag of trash get a T-shirt. Advance registration isn’t required but helps the association plan shoreline coverage.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB: Make a leaf placemat! Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth story time –   2016 marks the 75th birthday of everyone’s favorite monkey – Curious George! Come join the fun and #GetCurious at our Curious George Storytime. Activities to follow.

Warbington Farms – Their fall season runs September 17-November 12, 2016. Join us on the farm for our corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides to feed the cows, and all our Fun Park activities. We will be open September 28 from 10am-3pm for Forsyth County Fall Break! Fall Hours: Friday & Saturday 10am-10pm, Sunday 10am-6pm. Visit their Facebook for updates, contests and more! $10 Per person (includes Fun Park Admission AND Corn Maze) Price does not include tax, under three free. Senior Citizen discount available.

September 24, 2016 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Pups in the Park Dog Show & FestivalRock Creek Park, Dawsonville, Ga. Pups in the Park is a day devoted to dogs and their people families and their devotion to one another. The event is free and open to the public.
