Saturday, June 10

6:30 am – 10:30 am – Cumming Farmers Market is opening for the summer on Saturday, June 3 at the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot on Castleberry Road in Cumming, GA. Please visit their Facebook page to get more information about locally produced vegetables, meat, baked goods, honey, soaps, flowers, art, woodworking and so much more! Open Saturdays and Wednesdays during the summer season.

9:00 AM – Hampton Park Library  Special Needs Library Hour & Sensory Storytime

10:00am – 2:00pm / 2:30-6:30pm on Mondays – Saturdays – Cumming Aquatic Center is now open daily! Hours on Sundays are 1:00 – 6:00 pm.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Make a play dough ice cream cone! Let the kids craft while you shop, and then they get to take their creativity home with them! Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

10:00 am – 7:00 pm – Old Atlanta Spray Pad opens for the season at Old Atlanta Park, 810 Nichols Road until September 4. Daily admission for the spray pad is $2 per person for 1-year-olds and up. Only cash or check is accepted. Adults entering with a paying child are free if they remain on the dry deck. Annual individual passes are available for $30, and annual family passes are available for $60.

11:00 am – 4:00 pm – Humpus Bumpus Summer Kick-off! Humpus Bumpus will be hosting an afternoon for kids! A magician will kick off a day of carnival games and local author story times! There will also be face painting and prizes. Stay tuned for more details and an official schedule of events coming out soon!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth – Oh, The Places You’ll Go! Story time – With his trademark use of humorous verse and illustrations, Dr. Seuss’s wonderfully wise graduation speech will truly inspire anyone starting out in the world! Join us at this special Storytime, with activities to follow.

11:15 AM – Post Road Library Saturday Family Storytime at Post

4:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Lambert Farmers Market. The farmers market will operate this season from May 27th to October 28th. We are excited to bring a variety of products from an array of vendors to this community! We hope that the Lambert Farmers Market will strengthen the bond between the locals in the area while increasing awareness of where their food comes from. This will be our first season, and we hope that there will be many more! The market will be held on the grounds of Lambert High School, 805 Nichols Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024. lambertfarmersmarket.com

Sunday, June 11

9:00 am – 5:00 pm – Save the Horses First Charity Horse Show! Save The Horses is teaming up with Brownwood Farms and Rolling Hills Saddle Club on Sunday, June 11th starting at 9am, at Wills Park Equestrian Center in Alpharetta, GA for our first charity horse show.

Join us as a rider (English/Western), spectator, sponsor or vendor for a fun day to help benefit Save the Horses Rescue. Click the following link for more information: http://savethehorses.org/horse-show.html

Riders and horses of all ages and abilities are welcome. See the entry form and show sheet posted. Spectator admission and parking is free. Snack bar and vendors will be available.

Save the Horses (The Horse Rescue, Relief & Retirement Fund) is a 501(c)(3). This will be an amazing event!
