Saturday, July 1

6:30 am – 10:30 am – Cumming Farmers Market is opening for the summer on Saturday, June 3 at the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot on Castleberry Road in Cumming, GA. Please visit their Facebook page to get more information about locally produced vegetables, meat, baked goods, honey, soaps, flowers, art, woodworking and so much more! Open Saturdays and Wednesdays during the summer season.

7:00 am – 12:00 pm – Blueberry Gardens – Pick your own blueberries! They will open to the public with no appointment required for this Saturday, July 1 only, Please email them at : blueberrygarden@blueberrygarden.org  if you need further information
Please observe parking signs. For those of you that have been to our farm in the past the house is no longer part of the farm, so be respectful of the new owners and do not park or trespass on their property. Blueberries are $15.00 per gallon u-pick.
Paid before entering the field. We provide buckets for you to pick in, if you wish to take tbe bucket home it will be $2.00 per bucket,or if you prefer bring a bag or container to transfer your berries into after picking

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Make a slime jar! Let the kids craft while you shop, and then they get to take their creativity home with them! Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

10:00 am – 7:00 pm – Old Atlanta Spray Pad opens for the season at Old Atlanta Park, 810 Nichols Road until September 4. Daily admission for the spray pad is $2 per person for 1-year-olds and up. Only cash or check is accepted. Adults entering with a paying child are free if they remain on the dry deck. Annual individual passes are available for $30, and annual family passes are available for $60.

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth – BE QUIET! story time. In this hilarious new book from acclaimed author Ryan T. Higgins, all Rupert the Mouse wants is to star in a beautiful, wordless picture book. He has plenty of ideas about what makes a great book, but his friends just won’t stop talking! Activities to follow.

11:15 AM – Post Road Library Saturday Family Storytime at Post

1:00 PM – Post Road Library Sensory Storytime for Children with Special Needs

4:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Lambert Farmers Market. The farmers market will operate this season from May 27th to October 28th. We are excited to bring a variety of products from an array of vendors to this community! We hope that the Lambert Farmers Market will strengthen the bond between the locals in the area while increasing awareness of where their food comes from. This will be our first season, and we hope that there will be many more! The market will be held on the grounds of Lambert High School, 805 Nichols Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024. lambertfarmersmarket.com
