Friday, August 18

10:00 am – Hampton Park Library Busy Builders

2:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Cumming Aquatic Center – The last event for 1/2 price off DAILY Admission on the 3rd Friday .

Saturday, August 19

6:30 am – 10:30 am – Cumming Farmers Market is opening for the summer on Saturday, June 3 at the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot on Castleberry Road in Cumming, GA. Please visit their Facebook page to get more information about locally produced vegetables, meat, baked goods, honey, soaps, flowers, art, woodworking and so much more! Open Saturdays and Wednesdays during the summer season.

9:00 am – 1:00 pm – Kid Care Expo – Lanier Technical College – Join us for the Kid Care Expo where you can meet and greet healthcare providers and other child specific community resources face to face. This event is perfect for picking a pediatrician, dentist, or pediatric specialist for your child.

  • First 100 Registrants will receive a FREE VIP bag with healthcare products and prizes
  • FREE Raffle for all attendees! You could win prizes for new parents, babies, toddlers, children, and teens.
  • Visit The Education Stage for a talk about special healthcare concerns from area specialists

This event is for ALL families from pregnant first time parents to parents of teens and young adults. And it’s completely FREE.

10:00am – 2:00pm / 2:30-6:30pm on Mondays – Saturdays – Cumming Aquatic Center is now open daily! Hours on Sundays are 1:00 – 6:00 pm.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Make pom pom and gem art! Let the kids craft while you shop, and then they get to take their creativity home with them! Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

10:00 am – 7:00 pm – Old Atlanta Spray Pad opens for the season at Old Atlanta Park, 810 Nichols Road until September 4. Daily admission for the spray pad is $2 per person for 1-year-olds and up. Only cash or check is accepted. Adults entering with a paying child are free if they remain on the dry deck. Annual individual passes are available for $30, and annual family passes are available for $60.

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth – Nothing Rhymes with Orange Story time – We all know nothing rhymes with orange, but how does that make Orange feel? Left out, of course! But when Apple notices how Orange is feeling, the entire English language begins to become a bit more inclusive. Activities to follow.

4:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Lambert Farmers Market. The farmers market will operate this season from May 27th to October 28th. We are excited to bring a variety of products from an array of vendors to this community! We hope that the Lambert Farmers Market will strengthen the bond between the locals in the area while increasing awareness of where their food comes from. This will be our first season, and we hope that there will be many more! The market will be held on the grounds of Lambert High School, 805 Nichols Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024. lambertfarmersmarket.com
