Friday, October 20

No School & Fun Friday at Warbington Farms – No school means more fun at the farm! We will have all our activities going with a special gift to the parents….HALF OFF ADULT Admission 12pm-4pm 10/20/17!  *****PLUS***** between 12pm and 4pm kids (and adults) will be able to watch us plant our strawberries and even participate in the planting!  Regular admission is $12 and includes the hayride, petting zoo, corn maze, and Fun Park. ***DISCOUNTED ADULT Admission valid only during 12pm-4pm but farm is open 10am-10pm. Planting will be a first come basis (until we run out of plants) and will only be between 12pm and 4pm.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Music in the Garden at Sawnee Mountain Preserve – Learn about “Gardening for the Birds,” tour the Louise Mashburn Native Plant Garden and hear free, live music. Free parking. Bettis-Tribble Gap entrance.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels Kids Club Event: Make Vampirina friendship bracelets! Let the kids craft while you shop, and then they get to take their creativity home with them! Just $2 per 30-minute session – including supplies. Ages 3 & up welcome!

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Fall Family Festival at Living Faith Lutheran Church. If you’re looking for a place to spend time with your family… join us! This event is free and open to the community!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth – Story time – In this previously unpublished picture book by Margaret Wise Brown, author of the beloved children’s book Goodnight Moon, readers will take comfort in the reassuring world of the little bunny and delight at the attention to detail and hidden surprises on every page. Join us for Storytime, with activities to follow.

11:15 AM – Post Road Library  Saturday Family Storytime at Post

11:00 am – 4:00 pm – Flacktoberfest at Flack’s Flooring. Join us for the FLACKTOBERFEST FINALE! Lots of FREE family fun to be had with live music, games, bouncy houses, BBQ, a dunk tank, and MORE!

12:00 pm – Haunted Barn & Family Festival – TNT Dynamite Horse Stables – Last year’s Haunted Barn was such a big hit that it’s BACK! We will have a children’s festival early in the day starting at noon until 6pm. It will be complete with a bouncy house, pony rides, kid games, food and more! After we clear out the festival at 6pm, we will reopen as the haunted barn at 7pm! We will be dedicated to scaring your pants off until 10pm! Tickets can be bought in advance through EventBrite for a discount. Tickets at the door are double.

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Oktoberfest at The Church of the Good Shepherd. Menu: Two types of Sausage, Homemade German potato salad, Sauerkraut, vegetable, dessert and beverages. Music: live German Oktoberfest Music. Tickets: $12.00 for Adults Advance purchase, $14.00 for Adults the Day of the Event.

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Trunk or Treat at the Cumming Fairgrounds. Join us for Trunk R Treat at the Cumming Fairgrounds. Bring your scariest and most interesting costumes.

Cumming Greek Festival – Enjoy this 13th annual festival with lots of fun, food, music and culture!

Lakewood 400 Antiques Market – 1321 Atlanta Highway, Cumming, GA. Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-6, Sunday 10-5. Lakewood 400 Antiques Market, The Marketplace for Classic Antiques & Collectibles, Unique Home & Garden Decor, Jewelry & Art. Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze sponsored by the Georgia Foresty Association. This years’ design features some of Georgia’s happy wildlife neslted into their forest home! Uncle Shuck’s Maze is a 12 acre field of corn that has approximately 4 miles of trails, twisting and turning, and sometimes, coming to a deadend! Opening weekend is Sept. 9-10, 2017, come and kick off this year’s fall season. The corn maze and fall fun will be OPEN:
