Keep Forsyth County Beautiful invites residents to make a positive impact on the environment by recycling their old, unused electronics during the upcoming electronics recycling event. Accepted items for recycling include laptops, stereos, CD players, cell phones, microwaves, cameras and more. The minimum donation per carload drop-off is $5 while an additional $20 fee will apply for each television. HALLOWEEN EVENTS NEAR FORSYTH COUNTY

Trick or Treat Dahlonega – Ghosts, goblins, witches, wizards and more will be wandering the streets of Downtown Dahlonega on October 31st, 2014 at Trick-or-Treat Dahlonega. This event, brought to the community by the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Merchants, provides a safe environment for parents to bring children trick or treating during daylight hours.

The event will take place on Friday, October 31st from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, rain or shine. Trick-or-Treat Dahlonega is intended for children ages 12 and under and appropriate costumes are appreciated! For safety reasons, the roads will be closed and re-routed during the event.

3:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Swim Kids of GA – Egg-stra Cool UNDER THE SEA EGG HUNT! Grab a suit and towel and join us in the 90 degree HEATED POOL to spash around and grab some eggs!  We will be swimming for eggs starting at 4:00 and will be egg-hunting by age in small groups.  Parents of non-swimmers will need to suit up and join their child for some egg-citing fun in the pool! 1501 Redi Road, Cumming, GA.
