Enhance the experience with the companion app, and stop at the Holiday Village to visit Santa, shop for gifts, and ride carnival rides. The Ice Rink @ North Georgia is a seasonal outdoor ice rink at the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall in Dawsonville, GA open from Nov 17 – Jan 5.

Christmas in Castille – Opens November 30! The light show runs Thursday – Saturdays from 6-9pm until December 23rd. Turn your radio dial to 89.9 and enjoy the Christmas lights on this magical street. 4220 Tivoli Way, Alpharetta, GA. The light show is free and they are taking donations for a local charity through the West Forsyth DECA Club.

If you would like some quality time with your family please feel free to come out and join us! The 2017 Christmas season will be in operation from Saturday, November 18th until December 20th. Due to our desire to celebrate the holidays with our own families we will not be open on Thanksgiving day or Christmas Eve.

The Sawnee Association of the Arts Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival at Lanier Tech will be held on November 11th – 9 AM to 6:00 PM and November 12th – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at The Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College which is located at 3410 Ronald Reagan Blvd; Cumming, GA 30040; just off GA 400 exit 13 (RT 141) FREE ADMISSION!!!

This will be the 14th year that SAA is hosting this family-oriented community event. The Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival at Lanier Tech is the largest indoor/outdoor arts and crafts festival in Forsyth County, with over 100+ vendors; it has become an established community event with local residents.

Children will have the opportunity to play in two Moonwalks (weather permitting) and help raise funds for the SAFFT organization; Shop for gifts in the Elf Corner, a special shop where only kids can shop! Elves will help them choose gifts for friends and family; gift wrapping included. Parents can capture their children’s special visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus using their own cameras for a small donation. Food trucks, food vendors and kettle corn will be available outside, along with twelve non-profit organizations that SAA is hosting as part of our community outreach program.

This juried Festival will feature original, handcrafted works by professional artisans & craftsmen in the following mediums: painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, pottery, wood working, glass, fiber and food.

sawneeThe Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival is November 15 & 16, 2014 at Lanier Tech, (formerly Christmas in Central Park.) The 11th Annual Festival is at a new location this year at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College, 3410 Ronald Regan Blvd, Cumming, GA 30041. 

Hosted by the Sawnee Artists Association, this family-oriented community event offers photos with Santa, child-oriented activities, and local entertainment. The hours are: Saturday, November 15 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm; Sunday, November 16 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

This will be the 11th year that Sawnee Artists Association is hosting this family-oriented community event. This year they will be hosting over 90 artisans and craftsman, all with handcrafted merchandise in one of the largest art and craft shows in the county! Family oriented fun; Food Trucks and Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus! This is a perfect opportunity to capture your child’s visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, sitting fees apply.

You won’t want to miss these TWO-DAYS of family fun along Market Place Boulevard!

Start the weekend off on Friday at the Celebration of Lights at Northside Hospital – Forsyth with live entertainment from local schools and groups, children activities, photos with Santa and the lighting of the giant Christmas tree atop the hospital.

trainThe 10th Annual Christmas in Central Park Festival will be held Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th, 2013 at Central Park’s recreation center in Forsyth County, GA. Over 100 talented artists will be displaying their work inside the Holiday cheer-filled gyms of Central Park. Sponsored by Sawnee Artists Association. Forsyth’s Central Park is located at 2300 Keith Bridge Road, Cumming, GA.

Enjoy one-of-a-kind gifts, delicious food at the Sugar Plum Cafe’, singing and pictures with Santa! There will be a variety of handmade products, jewelry, glass, pottery, wood work and decorative items. There are also specialty food items, clothing, holiday decorations. New this year is Santa’s workshop, a creative interactive playground with supervised activities for children ages 3 – 12 (fees apply).

Over 100 talented artists will be displaying their work inside the Holiday cheer-filled gyms of Central Park. Sponsored by Sawnee Artists Association.

Enjoy one-of-a-kind gifts, delicious food at the Sugar Plum Cafe’, singing and pictures with Santa! There will be a variety of handmade products, jewelry, glass, pottery, wood work and decorative items. There is also specialty food items, clothing, holiday decorations.

Friday, 12/2

The Christmas in Cumming Light Show starts Thanksgiving Night. Mark your calendar and make plans to enjoy the show sometime this season. Bigger than ever with 250,000 lights on 6 houses.

Saturday 12/3

8:30 am – 12:00 pm – Chattahoochee Elementary Santa Breakfast and Holiday Bazaar – Holiday crafts for sale, raffles, student art gallery, musical performances and pictures with Santa!

9:00 am – 2nd Annual Jingle Jog 5K – Cumming Town Center, Market Place Blvd. – This fun race will start at Cumming Town Center on Marketplace Boulevard in Cumming, GA, travel east down Mary Alice Park Road and loop bringing you back to Cumming Town Center. The Jingle Jog is a chip timed race, with water stops along the way, with a fantastic participant package and a festive event shirt.   It is also a Peachtree Road Race qualifier!

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Home Depot craft snowman napkin holders – make a special holiday gift for someone you love.

10:00 am – 6:00 pm – North Forsyth High’s Brunch With Santa & Christmas Bazaar – Brunch & Shopping Expo

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Pet Pictures With Santa at Rucker Horse & Pet, Keith Bridge Road location.  Benefits HSFC.

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm – Chef & Fatman Cooking Show at Kinsey Family Farm– Join us for a cooking demonstration as Executive Chef Fred Genovese and the “Fat Man” Kevin Jenkins host their Talk Radio 1160 cooking show from the Kinsey Family Farm barn! Laugh at the Fat Man’s humor and delight in the skills of the Chef, and try free samples of their recipes while  you and your family enjoy the scenery!  And if you you are still hungry after the show there is hot chocolate then roast a few old fashioned marshmallows over the fire just outside our barn!

1 PM – 5 PM  Complimentary Photos with Santa and Horse Drawn Carriage Rides – The Avenue Forsyth on Saturdays through 12/17. Bring your camera! Enjoy complimentary photos with Santa in The Park near Coldwater Creek and Horse Drawn Carriage Rides every Saturday from from November 26 – December 17.

3:30 – 4:30 pm – Cumming Christmas Parade – celebrate the holiday season by watching a parade with Santa and lots of community groups march down Market Place Blvd.

4:30 – 6:30 pm – Celebration of Lights at Northside Hospital – Forsyth. Bring your family and friends and enjoy entertainment from local groups and schools, photos with Santa Claus and many other activities for the kids. WSB-TV anchor Fred Blankenship will serve as emcee. Christmas trees will be lit in Atlanta, Alpharetta and Cumming, with lights on the trees representing those who have been affected by cancer.

Sunday 12/4

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Hampton Park Library – Family Cinema free movie.

3:30 pm – 6:00 pm – SAFFT Hope for the Holidays open house. Join us December 4, 2011 from 3:30-6:00pm and see the impact SAFFT is making in our community. The event includes:

– Caroling
– Marshmallow Roasting
– Christmas Shopping
– SAFFT House Lighting @ 6pm

4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Adventure Kids Christmas Fun – Cookie decorating, reindeer food making, & fun!!! Join us as we kick off our Toys for Tots drive too!!! Bring a camera for photo ops & there is no extra charge for the special activities!!!! Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at 4:00 pm! $5 play all day!
