Dawson Junction Subdivision – nightly through December 25 – 121 Switchman Lane, Dawsonville GA 30534. Sun – Thur 5:30- 10pm and Friday & Saturday 5:30 – 11pm. Tune your radio station to 107.7 to make the light show start.

Happy House in Cumming, 5455 Young Deer Dr Cumming GA 30041. The Christmas lights are on daily from 6pm until 10pm from now til January 1. Happy House has 100,000 + lights and named Happy House by the children in the neighborhood. No fancy music or wild flashing lights more like an Old Fashioned Christmas enjoyed by young and old.

Canton Christmas Light Show

Holiday Lights at Veterans Park, 7345 Cumming Highway, Canton, GA 30115. The new park in Cherokee Co. on Highway 20 North side just outside Forsyth has an unbelievable one million lights display. It’s $20 a car load! Nightly at 6:00 pm through January 6, 2018.

Blinkmidwinter.com is a Christmas light display that supports local charities. They blink Christmas lights to music every night from dark til 10. Once here dial 92.7 on your radio. It’s a great way to enjoy a little Christmas spirit with the family and support a wonderful charity. General Information: The show runs from Thanksgiving night through January 1st. Times TBA.

TBD. If possible, they’ll post an update on our Facebook page if the show is not running for any reason. A Residential Animated Christmas Light Show Located in Dawsonville GA. Link to their house –http://goo.gl/E8Qp5N. They have an Animated Christmas Light Show at their home in North Georgia. This year they have 10,000+ lights timed to several Christmas Carols. The show is free and any donations will benefit KARE for Kids. A local non profit that gives local children in need the Christmas they deserve. Located at 173 Aplomado Lane West, Dawsonville, GA 30534. The show will run, but may be turned off in heavy rain.

The Soroka Family Lights has over 16,000 lights with 176 Channels synchronized to your favorite Christmas songs.  Tune to Channel 103.1 FM.  Light show starts at dusk and goes until 10pm.  Always adding more lights and songs up till Christmas.  Need to add another 4,000 lights so we can get over 20,000 this year.  The show may be off during heavy rains.  Located in Forest Brooke subdivision just a mile west of Ga 400 exit 13 located at 5460 Sandstone Ct. Cumming, GA.

Once inside the subdivision, take a left at the stop sign and another left at the next stop sign. We’re at the house at the bottom of the hill with the blinky lights.

Lanier Islands Christmas – 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway, Buford, GA. November 21 – December 31 nightly from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm. There is a new price this year of $30.00 per car and ice skating is included!

Friday, December 13

4:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Christmas in Cumming Arts & Crafts Fair – Cumming Fairgrounds. There will be a Christmas Light Show, hayrides, roasting marshmallows, and caroling on Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Come join us to hear the sweet sounds of local elementary school 5th grade and church choruses starting at 7:00 PM on Friday.

Saturday, December 14

9:00 am – 6:00 pm – Kinsey Family Farm – pick out a Christmas tree or wreath, enjoy roasted marshmallows and shop their market for items like Sweets by Sarah’s pumpkin rolls, salsa, jams, honey and much more!

9:00 am – dark – Bottoms Christmas Tree Farm – pick out a tree, go for a hayride, roast marshmallows, see the animals and more!

10:00 am – Lowe’s Build and Grow – The holidays are right around the corner! Bring your child to Lowe’s and they can build this festive Train Engine!

10:00 am – 5:00 pm – Christmas in Cumming Arts & Crafts Fair – Cumming Fairgrounds. The show attracts over 7,500 people and will be held inside the heated Cumming Livestock Barn located on the City of Cumming Fairgrounds. There will be over 100 festive booths in the show. Admission is $1.00 with children 12 & under entering free. While the Christmas in Cumming Arts & Crafts Show is taking place, there will be FREE photos with Santa on Friday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 12:00 – 3:00 PM in the barn.

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble story time. Join us as we read the classic Frosty the Snowman. Great for all ages!

11:15 am – 12:15 pm – Tis the Season for Stories at the Post Road Library – Enjoy seasonal stories, merry songs, and a festive puppet show featuring the one, the only, Pete the Cat! Holiday fun for the whole family! No need to register to attend.

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Complimentary Carriage Rides, Story Time and Pictures with Santa at The Collection Forsyth. Kick off the holiday season with this annual tradition. Complimentary carriage rides, Santa story time and pictures with Santa! Complimentary Photos with Santa (Bring your own camera) from 2pm to 5pm. Carriage Rides – (every Saturday 1pm to 5pm) and Stories with Santa at 1pm.

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm – The Wonder Project is hosting the first annual Christmas in the Village on December 14, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm at Vickery Village on Post Road in Cumming. The event starts with a performance by the Vickery Creek Elementary School’s fifth-grade choir. See a Christmas market, participate in a gingerbread workshop, drink eggnog and cocoa by the fire, watch amazing performances from local talent brought by Performer’s Warehouse, enjoy a visit from Santa and much more holiday fun for all ages. The end of the event will be the lighting of the tree and a performance from a special guest.

christmasincummingThe 18th Annual Christmas in Cumming Arts & Crafts Show is on December 13th and 14th at the Cumming Fairgrounds presented by the City of Cumming, GA.

The event will take place on Friday the 13th from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM and on Saturday the 14th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The show attracts over 7,500 people and will be held inside the heated Cumming Livestock Barn located on the City of Cumming Fairgrounds. There will be over 100 festive booths in the show.

5:00 pm – Baby, It’s Cold Outside – Sexton Hall Enrichment Center, 2115 Chloe Rd, Cumming, GA. Music Authority and The Forsyth Community Chorale present, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”  This holiday concert will feature the music of the season as the Chorale and the Music Authority Ensembles (Jazz, Guitar, and Percussion) all strut their stuff for a family friendly evening of fun and music. Admission is free, and we are collecting canned goods to help the hungry this holiday season.

Saturday, December 1

9:00 am – Jingle Jog 5k at Marketplace Blvd. REgistrations begins at 7:30 am.2085 Market Place Blvd. at Cumming Town Center.

9:00 am – Home Depot Free Kids Workshop – Build a winter-themed picture frame. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.

10:00 am – 4:00 pm – A special day of shopping, Joyful Noise, is set for Saturday, December 1st from 10am-4pm at The Warehouse (5095 Post Road, Cumming, GA 30040). Over 40 local vendors, a baked goods sale, raffle prizes, live Christmas music performances, and a Christmas photo booth are part of this event. Proceeds benefit The Warehouse and Childhood Cancer Research at the Van Andel Institute.

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Avenue Forsyth – An Elf on the Shelf Storytime With Santa’s Elves. It’s that special time of year when we get a visit from Santa’s Elves. Come join us for a very special Storytime. Will have lots of great stories and treats!

3:30 pm – Cumming Christmas Parade! Market Place Blvd. Cumming, GA
