7:00 am – 12:00 pm – Cumming Farmer’s Market at the Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot. Open for the season on Saturdays and Wednesdays!

10:00 am – 2:00 pm & 2:30 – 6:30 pm – Cumming Aquatic Center Outdoor Leisure Pool Open two shifts daily for the summer season!
10:00 am – 7:00 pm – Old Atlanta Spray Pad open through September 5. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., May 28 through August 3. Beginning August 4 until September 5, the hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Mondays the spray pad is closed for maintenance, and on Sundays the venue is available for private rentals only. Daily admission for the spray pad is $2 per person (one year old and up). Annual individual passes are available for $30 and annual family passes are available for $60. Private rentals are $200 and include exclusive use of the spray pad and pavilion for two hours.
10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Michaels KIDS CLUB: The Secret Life of Pets – Perler®Max! Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. See a store associate for details today. $2.00. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10:00am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join the fun!

11:00 am – Barnes & Noble at The Collection Forsyth story time – Every parent has heard this classic kid question on a long car ride! After reading this inventive new book (that even turns upside down for several pages!), you’ll never look at being bored the same way again. Join us for this fun-filled Storytime with activities to follow.

11:15 AM – Post Road Library – Saturday Family Storytime at Post 

Sunday, July 17

1:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Cumming Aquatic Center Outdoor Leisure Pool Open for one shift.

Friday, May 13

10:00 am – Hampton Park Library  – Busy Builders. Let’s build something together! Did you know that playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills? Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. You bring your creativity, we’ll provide the rest! All ages are welcome to attend this family program. Registration is not required, drop-in anytime!

Saturday, May 14

9:00 am – 5:00 pm – Strawberry Festival – Warbington Farms – Join us for our 6th Annual Strawberry Festival. We will have vendors, face painting (extra cost), “Hey”rides, petting zoo, fun park, craft for kids, visit with strawberry shortcake and MORE! *Strawberry picking is $14 (plus tax) for a gallon and BASED ON AVAILABILITY. We suggest coming early for strawberry picking as we will close the field once the berries are picked. Admission to the fun park is $9 kids and $5 adults and includes access to the vendors, hayride to feed the cows, petting zoo, inflatables, slides, corn crib, swings and MORE!

Sunday, May 15
11:00 am – 2:00 pm Food Truck Sunday at Cumming First United Church. Join us out on the front parking lot and lawn for Food Truck Sunday! Food Trucks will include: Sweet Auburn BBQ, Tex’s Tacos, The Patty Wagon, Happy Belly & North Georgia Treats.  This will be a fun, family friendly event that will include live music, games, face-painting, cornhole, inflatables, train rides, and more. Please bring money for the food trucks (food prices determined by food trucks), everything else is free! This is a great time to invite friends and family. This is a community wide event!
12:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Festival Tusovka – Browns Bridge Event Center 3885 Browns Bridge Rd, Cumming, Georgia 30041.
All are welcome to join our family-friendly Festival Tusovka. Enjoy International and Russian food, crafters/vendors, activities for all ages. In addition, there is a music stage outside, car show and live performance inside. The Festival Tusovka takes place rain or shine, and admission is free. Parking $5. The Celebrate Freedom rodeo at Wills Park will be under the covered arena so rain or shine the event will go on. General admission-$15 for adult, kids ages 5-12-$10 and 4 & under is free. Go to the front gate to purchase your wristband that you will need to keep on during the event. Gates open at 5:30pm, rodeo starts 7:30pm, live music by Twisted Whiskey each night after the rodeo. Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival in Cumming, GA on November 15 & 16, 2014

sawneeThe Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival is November 15 & 16, 2014 at Lanier Tech, (formerly Christmas in Central Park.) The 11th Annual Festival is at a new location this year at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College, 3410 Ronald Regan Blvd, Cumming, GA 30041. 

Hosted by the Sawnee Artists Association, this family-oriented community event offers photos with Santa, child-oriented activities, and local entertainment. The hours are: Saturday, November 15 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm; Sunday, November 16 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

This will be the 11th year that Sawnee Artists Association is hosting this family-oriented community event. This year they will be hosting over 90 artisans and craftsman, all with handcrafted merchandise in one of the largest art and craft shows in the county! Family oriented fun; Food Trucks and Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus! This is a perfect opportunity to capture your child’s visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, sitting fees apply.

Over 90 vendors featuring unique handcrafted items including stained glass, scarves, purses, kiln formed fused glass, jewelry, pottery, candles, soaps, hand turned woodcraft, honey, photography, paintings, holiday ornaments, food, quilts, fiber arts and more! FREE ADMISSION!!!!
