10:00 am – Hampton Park Library  – Busy Builders. Let’s build something together! Did you know that playing with LEGO and other building blocks can help develop your child’s cognitive learning and social skills? Every Friday morning we will set out a collection of kid-friendly building blocks for an engaging and educational drop-in playtime. 8:00 am – SAFFT’s 3rd Annual Color Outside the Lines 5K to support foster & adopted children. This 5k is for any type of runner and it’s great for the entire family. This year we are adding chip timing to ensure accuracy, bringing food trucks, AND incorporating a FUN run for the kids! All runners get a shirt, a packet of color, and a swag bag. Meet Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion, create Empire-approved and Jedi-certified crafts, enter the Wookiee Calling Contest, and try your hand at trivia and other stellar activities! Win books, posters, and other prizes. Crafts are ongoing all afternoon! Wear your costumes for the costume parade! No registration required to attend.
